一般是及物动词
- 完全地、彻底地改变一个人或一个事物的外表或性质（一般是向好的方面）；
The plan is to transform the area into a tourist attraction.

Divert¶
- 使事物或人转变方向；
- 改变事物的用途；
- 转移或分散注意力；
- 提供娱乐（很少使用）；
Due to fog, our plane was diverted to another airport.
受大雾影响，我们的飞机被转到了另一个机场。
The telecom companies have set very high charges for diverting international calls.
电话公司设定了非常高的国际电话转接费。
